As from the 1st May, the Tuesday Single Stableford Competitions will commence.
The competition will be open all day and is to be played off the white tees with full handicap allowance. Please enter at the Pro's shop.

The 2011 golfing season turned out to be a successful one for Martin Barnes.
Martin wrapped up a unbelievable year when he recently clinched the men's singles knock out title, to add to his season's tally of the pair's knock out title, the Captain's Final, the autumn team open and a divisional winner.
That's certainly some haul for the category 1 golfer who started the season on a handicap of 3.9 and finished on 3.3.
When Martin was asked to comment on his impressive achievement, he replied, "it's all in the swing mate!"
Well Done Martin.
After 21 rounds of strokeplay the player of the year award has been shared by Mark Forster & Jamie Greenwood.
Both players went into the last medal competition of the season searching for that 1 shot advantage lower than his opponent.
However both Mark & Jamie could not improve on the scores posted over the season and they eventually tied on 409 net, based on their best 6 rounds.
Congratulations to both Mark & Jamie on a great years golf.

We will be staging one every month from November to March.
The entry sheet will be posted after each event and entries will be limited to a maximum of 23 teams.
There will however be a reserve list in case of any cry offs.
Each comp will be a shotgun start and teams are requested to be ready to start play on their allocated tees at 10.30am.

Congratulations to Martin Barnes & Mark Grundy who beat Martin Jeffs & Paul Bradley 2&1 over 36 holes in the doubles matchplay final.
Congratulations to Ben Richards who on Tuesday smashed the course record previously held by Dan Morgan.
Ben shot a gross 62, posting a nett 61 (that's 46 stableford points) beating the current record of 65. He has even beat the pro's record by 1 shot which is held by G. Cox of Davenport GC.
Ben's round consisted of nine pars along with nine birdies on 1,2,3,6,8,12,13,14 & 15th.
Ben is currently in great form, he started the season with a handicap of 4.1 and now has a exact of 0.2 (scratch).
A fantastic achievement for a category 1 golfer, the club wish him all the best in his quest for a plus handicap.
